Evangelization Through The Shroud

SEEC exists to study the Shroud of Turin and share what it reveals — carrying its witness to the world, one conversation, one talk, one community at a time.

About SEEC

An Organization Built Around A Single, Singular Object.

The Shroud Educational Endeavors Corporation is a nonprofit devoted to the study and dissemination of knowledge about the Shroud of Turin.
Our work brings together researchers, speakers, and communities of faith around one of the most closely examined artifacts in human history. SEEC’s focus has grown beyond any single gathering — where our 2025 conference brought the world’s leading voices together for a few days in St. Louis, SEEC now carries that momentum forward year-round, sponsoring talks and connecting speakers with hosts.

What Is the Shroud

The Most Studied ArtifactIn World History.

The Shroud of Turin is a centuries-old linen burial cloth believed by millions to be the actual burial shroud of Jesus Christ. The cloth bears the front and back image of a scourged, crucified man, whose wounds correspond with the scriptural description of the Passion.

The image itself is a photographic negative, and contains holographic, X-ray, and three-dimensional qualities. It remains the most studied artifact in world history — and yet the process by which the image was formed is still an elusive mystery.
